Description
Support the operation of our local distribution centre . Meet onsite clients as they arrive, and stay with your designated client throughout their visit. Set clear expectations with onsite clients as to their appointment duration and departure time. Assist onsite client with directions, moving furniture, and gathering requested items. Occasional heavy lifting so as to load requested items onto cars and trucks, no more than 10kg. A minimum attendance of 1 day per week for 3 months is required (Days negotiable, from Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10am to 5.30pm!). Our full time staff are all volunteers, so your contribution will be highly appreciated and crucially required

The Donation Distribution Assistant will see to it that clients feel welcome and respected during their time at Crossroads. Training will be provided, as will all the necessary equipment. Full-day volunteers are also more than welcome to stay for lunch!
