You can sign up for a JCVTP account without any existing VMP account. But you are recommended to have at least one account on any of the six VMP(s) and connect it with your JCVTP account so that your service records on that connected VMP(s) can be accumulated on JCVTP.

Signing up for a JCVTP account is free of charge.
All users must be at least 6 years old in order to sign up for an account on JC Volunteer Together Platform (JCVTP). As the volunteering opportunities are published by different organisations, if specified you can check the age limit in the "age requirement" section of each volunteering opportunity’s details page.
It is highly recommended that you create an account on JCVTP first, then create another account on one of the six Volunteer Matching Platforms (VMPs) listed below:

Your application was submitted to the Volunteer Matching Platform (VMP), so please check your application status on the VMP or its notifications.
Please always contact the Volunteer Matching Platform (VMP) or the organiser of the volunteering opportunity for the most up-to-date information. In the event of information inconsistency or conflict between the JC Volunteer Together Platform (JCVTP) and VMP, the information provided by the VMP and the organiser shall prevail for all purposes.
Yes, JC Volunteer Together Platform (JCVTP) will start accepting E-Certificate applications every April. Any JCVTP user who achieves the required number of volunteer hours can apply for an E-Certificate online. When you apply for an annual E-Certificate, you are also required to have a valid email address to receive the E-Certificate.
JCVTP as a platform will not provide insurance coverage to volunteers. Please refer to the insurance policy of the Volunteer Matching Platforms (VMPs) or contact the organiser(s) of the volunteer service.
First, make sure you have an active account on both JCVTP and one of the six VMPs. Then, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to your JCVTP account and open the "Account Overview" page
- Click “VMP accounts” on the left-hand-side panel and click “Connect now” next to your VMP.
- Click "Continue" on the “Connect to VMP account" dialogue box
- When prompted, log in to your active VMP account and complete the connection.

You are required to create a JC Volunteer Together Platform (JCVTP) account with either an email address or mobile phone number because you will need to receive a verification code when signing up for an account. You will also need to use the same email address or mobile phone number to log in to your JCVTP account.
No. They will be treated as separate accounts and they cannot be merged into one account. A phone number or an email address can only be used as the login for one account. Please use only one of your accounts going forward to accumulate volunteer records and avoid having records distributed across multiple accounts.
Please log in to your JCVTP account and open the "Account Overview" page. On this page, you will see an e-membership card with your name, JCVTP account ID and volunteer hours. If you wish to copy your JCVTP account ID, please click the “Copy ID” button next to your ID on the e-membership card.
Please note that users cannot change their login method after signing up.
Users cannot change their account name on the "Account Profile" page. The account name will be the name printed on your annual E-Certificate. It is highly recommended that you use your full name. If you need to change your account name, please contact us using the enquiry form provided under “Support” and provide us with the below information:

- Please log in to your JCVTP account and open the "Account Overview" page.
- Click “Profile” on the left-hand-side panel and go to the bottom of your profile page.
- You will see the notification settings box where you can change your option to either “Yes” or “No”.
You can delete your account using the JCVTP mobile application. Log in to your existing account, open "My account" tab and tap on "Profile". At the bottom of the screen, you can tap "Delete account". Please note that once you confirm and deleted your account, your personal information will be deleted and cannot be restored.
You can create an account on one or more of the following Volunteer Matching Platforms (VMPs) and connect it with your account on JC Volunteer Together Platform (JCVTP):

JCVTP will only recognise records of volunteer services you completed after you have successfully created a JCVTP account and connected it with a Volunteer Matching Platform (VMP) account. In other words, your volunteer record before JCVTP was launched will not be considered a valid volunteer record.
No. You will give consent to your VMP for sharing your new volunteer records when you connect the accounts. Your VMP should not share any existing volunteer records created with JCVTP before you connect your accounts. In other words, your JCVTP account will not include any volunteer records from your VMP that were created before you connect your JCVTP account to your VMP.
First, please ensure that the missing volunteer record meets the conditions below:
- It pertains to a volunteer service completed after, not before, you connected your JCVTP account to Volunteer Matching Platform (VMP).
- There are no other approved service records pertaining to the same contribution on your JCVTP account.

First, please check if the volunteer record is the same as the record in your Volunteer Matching Platform (VMP) account. If they are different, was the record in your VMP account amended? Amendment to a record is not accepted on JCVTP and that could be the reason for mismatched records between the JCVTP and VMP. If the record does not match with the record on VMP and the VMP record was not amended, please contact us using the enquiry form found under “Support” and provide us with below information:

JCVTP membership has 4 tiers. Once you have accumulated the required number of annual volunteer hours, you will be upgraded to the next membership tier:
- Starter - entry status
- Builder - 1 volunteer hour
- Cruiser - 10 volunteer hours
- Ambassador - 25+ volunteer hours
Once you progress to “Builder” level (i.e. accumulated more than 1 hour of annual volunteer hour), you can log in to your JCVTP account and see available rewards to claim under “My rewards” page. Choose one of the rewards and open to view the details. Click “claim now” and confirm the contact information to receive your reward voucher. You can only claim one reward on each tier.
You may claim ONE reward under each tier. For example, when you reach the Ambassador tier, you may select ONE reward each from the unlocked reward lists under Builder, Cruiser and Ambassador tier respectively. Thus, you may claim up to three rewards in a calendar year if you reach the Ambassador level. Exceptions would apply to rewards under special promotion.
You may claim the available reward(s) of your unlocked membership tier(s) in the current year anytime up until 30 April of the following year. For example, you may claim one reward each under the Builder, Cruiser and Ambassador tier anytime before 30 April 2025 if you have reached 25+ hours by 31 December 2024. However, please note that reward claiming is on a first-come-first-served basis while stock is available.
The reward voucher will be a digital one. Please log in to your JCVTP account and you may view your claimed voucher in “My vouchers” under “My Rewards”. Please click “View voucher” to get your e-voucher. Please refer to the e-voucher for the specific Terms and Conditions of your reward. Or please contact the reward supplier for details. If you can’t find the e-voucher you claimed in your account, please reach us at support@jcvtplatform.hk for any support.
Your vouchers will be displayed under “My vouchers” after you confirm claiming your reward successfully. The “Claimed” voucher list will show all the vouchers you have successfully claimed and that are still within the redemption period. The “Invalid” voucher list will show all the vouchers that have passed the redemption period. These vouchers cannot be used anymore.
Please note that claimed rewards are not exchangeable, replaceable, transferable or refundable for cash.
Yes, you can. The record of reward redemption at other Volunteer Matching Platforms will not affect your record in JCVTP.
