內容

Our Silk Road Café offers visitors a welcoming space to enjoy fair trade teas, coffees, and snacks from around the world while supporting people in need. Through serving customers and helping with the daily operation of the café, volunteers play an important role in advancing Crossroads' mission of linking those who need help with those who can provide it. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop customer service skills while contributing to a meaningful social enterprise. What we need: -Sell fair-trade drinks and snacks from around the world -Help preparing and cleaning the café before and after the opening hour -Act as a cashier (collect payments from customers) -Hours of volunteering are 09:30 – 17:30; required for either Wednesday or Saturday or both days The volunteering hours are 09:30 to 17:30, and volunteers are required to serve on Wednesday, Saturday, or both days. If you can commit approximately 16 hours per week for 3 to 6 months to help run our Fair Trade Café, we would love to hear from you!

Training will be provided to the volunteer to ensure they can handle the daily duties. The recruitment for the role of cafe attendant is ongoing, volunteers are welcome to extend their volunteering beyond three months.
