Volunteering in Donation Preparation helps ensure that donated clothing, household goods, and electrical items reach people in need around the world. By carefully sorting, organising, and preparing donations for shipment, volunteers play an important role in supporting humanitarian aid efforts while helping reduce waste through the reuse of quality goods. What we need: -Sorting donated clothing / household goods / electrical goods by type, size and quality. -Packing and preparing donation items for shipment and distribution. -Assisting with general organisation and tidiness within the department area. -Supervising short term volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. -Supporting the team with special projects or events when needed. The schedule is flexible depending on the availability of the volunteer. If you can come regularly to help sort, pack, and categorise donated clothing, household, and electrical goods for distribution to those in need, we would love to hear from you!
