Description
Seeking a Marketing & Community Engagement Volunteer to grow and engage our community. A proactive, community-minded volunteer to lead outreach efforts toward both technology companies and non-tech corporate partners, inviting them to support, sponsor, or partner with PyCon HK 2026. Researching and identifying potential corporate partners across various sectors—ranging from software, cloud, and AI companies to finance, retail, professional services, education, and local enterprises. Initiating introductions, sending partnership proposals, and maintaining regular communication with corporate contacts interested in developer hiring, tech innovation, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or brand visibility. Support social media content creation, promotion, and other marketing activities. A flexible workload with tasks assigned weekly based on personal capacity, averaging around 5 hours per week. Attend a 30-minute briefing call and pre-event orientation to learn about PyCon HK 2026 goals, review sponsorship packages, and align on outreach guidelines
