Career Break/Gap Year - Humanitarian Volunteer

We are offering opportunities for volunteers interested in humanitarian work. We have a variety of potential roles in our different departments - shipping and logistics, goods preparation for distribution, distribution client care, HR, corporate engagement, resource data analysis, partnership development, fair-trade marketplace, IT support, communications & marketing, design, translation, administration, research, catering, property maintenance, hospitality, and running experiential simulation programmes. The placements will require 8+ months of commitment. Our work days are on Tuesdays to Saturdays, 9:30am - 5:30pm. Minimum 2 days a week. As a Crossroads’ volunteer you will work in a international environment, together with many other full and part time volunteers, learn about the varied needs in HK and around the world. English is the main working language in Crossroads, though having working fluency in other languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin and French would be beneficial too. We don’t just give you busywork – you’ll play a genuine part in our operations, taking on and owning responsibilities that matter and seeing the impact of your efforts. Start / End dates are flexible. We have different people joining at different times through the year. This role is a full-time, unpaid, voluntary role based in Hong Kong. Like all of us, you need to have sufficient finance to support your own living expenses for the duration of your placement.
