Be a Cooking Class Assistant for People with Special Needs

Description: LOVE 21 is a charity dedicated to bettering the lives of those living with Down syndrome and autism in Hong Kong through physical activity and nutrition. They run a variety of sport and exercise classes, a health and nutrition programme, and guardian counselling and workshops. Volunteer roles: - To take attendance at the event - To take photos of the event - To encourage the members for hands-on food processing work - To keep safety issues for our members - To assist in doing survey at the end of the event Remarks: - Arrive at the venue 5 minutes before the workshop for the briefing - Volunteers can try the dish together - Volunteers need to be comfortable in basic food preparation - cutting ingredients Content for the March Class: 潮州粉果烹飪工作坊 Teochew Dumpling Cooking Class Content for the April Class: 麻醬水晶粉皮卷烹飪工作坊 Sesame Paste Crystal Rice Paper Roll Cooking Class Content for the May Class: 西班牙海鮮飯烹飪工作坊 Spanish Seafood Paella Cooking Class All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
