Description
Lead workshops for deaf parents to enhance parenting skills. Attend a 45-minute interview with the founders of CODA Hong Kong. Create a 4 - session Programme in 2 months as per the needs of Deaf parents and CODA . Join discussions with organization staff to learn about our objectives, specifically on the characteristics of CODA and Deaf Parents. Workshops are held during the weekdays' morning from May to June 2025, around 2 hours each. Design, lead and conduct parenting workshops suitable for Deaf families (covering topics such as time management, emotion control of parents and kids, self-care, discipline etc.). Coorperate with our Sign Language Interpreters to ensure satifactory delivery of the workshop content. Therapist/Social Worker/Counsellor with experience working with Family preferred

  • We are launching a programme, consisting 4 workshops covering different topics, to cater for the needs of Deaf parents, who may face difficulties in diciplining and parenting their hearing kids becuase of the language and cultural barriers within the family. You will be working closely with CODAs who have a comprehensive experience and understanding of the unique composition and dynamic of Deaf parents with their hearing children. Our CODA team will be support you and working with you along the way to create a programme that is Deaf friendly.
