Remarks
- EdQuity Hong Kong Foundation is supporting Unique Minds HK in recruiting volunteers for a new inclusive education programme serving Primary 1 students in three local primary schools during the 2026/27 academic year. The programme aims to strengthen differentiated and inclusive learning by providing additional support within the classroom, particularly for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and other learning needs. Volunteers will work alongside teachers and the Unique Minds team to provide small-group learning support, individual support to students where appropriate, and assistance with learning resources and classroom activities. The programme will initially be implemented across Tung Chung Catholic School (Primary Section), Tsuen Wan Chiu Chow Public School, and Catholic Mission School. Volunteers will receive structured training and ongoing support from Unique Minds HK. This includes a 2-hour orientation before placement, regular monthly training and support sessions, guidance and supervision from teachers at the assigned school, and ongoing support from the Unique Minds programme coordinator. Volunteers will also receive guidance on their classroom responsibilities and the needs of the students they support. Prior teaching or SEN experience is therefore not required, although relevant experience is welcome.
