Description
Description: Only 5% of non-Chinese students in Hong Kong go on to university. Their chances can be significantly increased if they receive extra academic support, especially with their Chinese skills. Your supports are important for making this happend.
Volunteers are called for providing one-on-one assistance to students, helping them with homework (particular attention is given to homework on the Chinese language and Mathematics). This allows volunteers to become positive role models for the children and the children to improve on their confidence and academics in a relaxing and casual environment.
Language: Cantonese speakers who can write traditional Chinese are required.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
