Remarks
  • THIS IS A REGULAR VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITY. We are looking for a weekly commitment to do this for at least a couple of months. If you prefer occasional volunteering, please refer to our Bread Runner posts. Breadline's volunteers recover surplus bread from bakeries all over Hong Kong every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening and donate it to the less fortunate. We have a grant-winning web platform that allows our volunteer to "work smartly" and recover almost all available bread for donation every single evening we operate (our present hit rate is over 90%). We have a loyal team of Donor Managers who support our volunteers on the road and can provide training and supervision for newcomers.
