Description

Host an intimate and engaging private event for our community members to foster connection and discussion. Join a 30-minute alignment call with the founders to understand the community background (Any day from 7-8pm). Prepare a few creative icebreakers and discussion prompts to guide our members . Facilitate the live, private book club session by managing the conversation flow and ensuring every member feels included. 4 hours in September to host the private book club (Date TBC)

Visionary Bees is a young non-profit organization in Hong Kong driving social inclusion and economic mobility through creative competency. We empower marginalized individuals—including ethnic minorities, single parents, and persons with disabilities—by providing free professional-tier training in the visual, performing, and digital arts. We are looking for an energetic, engaging, and articulate Event Host (MC) preferably women, to serve as the voice of our upcoming book club event and community gathering. As the host, you will welcome guests, introduce our work, and program participants, guide the audience through our event timeline, and set an uplifting, inspiring, and inclusive tone for the evening. To help you get started comfortably, our founding team will provide a comprehensive event briefing pack before the session ❤️ You will also have a 30-minute alignment call with us to discuss the best ways to engage our participants. We will also provide pre-written icebreaker suggestions and a structured timeline template to help you facilitate a smooth, relaxed, and welcoming discussion.
