Description
Since 1995, thousands of individual and corporate donors have entrusted Crossroads with quality goods that can help people in need across Hong Kong and around the world. As a Donation Warehouse Coordinator in our Incoming Goods Department, you will help ensure that donated items are received, organised, and prepared efficiently for distribution.
What we need:
-Receive goods deliveries, assemble and clean donated goods (mainly furniture) as required
-Organise and oversee sorting and storage of items according to category and destination
-Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with data entry
-Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards in the warehouse
-Support and guide fellow volunteers working in the warehouse
-Previous experience in warehouse coordination, inventory management, or logistics is a plus but not essential
-You will work directly with and receive guidance from our warehouse supervisor
Why this is important:
Your work will help ensure that donated goods are received, tracked, and prepared efficiently so they can reach charities and communities in need. By supporting the smooth flow of incoming donations, you will play a key role in turning generous donations into practical help for vulnerable people.
The schedule is 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (including a 1-hour lunch break).
If you can commit to 1-2 days per week for a minimum of 3 months, we would love to hear from you!
