活動目的
1. 集結區內不同持分者 （包括居民、商戶、學生、社團及機構）的力量，關注區內獨居長者的需要，並在端陽佳節，為他們送上關懷及祝福。
2. 提供機會讓區內的不同持分者參與關懷獨居長者行動，共同建立一個愛與關懷的社區。
3. 透過全區性探訪接觸較少參與社區活動的長者，了解他們的需要及協助他們認識社區資源，加強他們的社區支援網絡。
