Remarks
  • Language barrier within a family is one of the unique challenges faced by Deaf families (Deaf parents with hearing children), where parents may not be able to provide verbal language input in the same way hearing parents do. This results in speech development delay generally experienced by CODAs (Children of Deaf Adults). This project aims at improving CODAs communication and social skills by encouraging various forms of communication, including vocalizations, gestures, and early word attempts, fostering a foundation for language development. We have materials, tools, toys and books that could be used for speech therapy. We also offer sign language interpreter in case commuication is required with kids' parents.
