The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) is excited to announce our upcoming art and nature-based event: Nature Outing! We are currently recruiting passionate volunteers to support this meaningful initiative.
About the Event:
This year’s Nature Outing will take place in Sai Kung on Saturday, 22 November. The event aims to foster appreciation for the nature and deepen our beneficiaries' connection with nature through engaging creative activities. We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help ensure their safety during the exploration!
Duties
- Attend the 30-minute online orientation with SAF on 14 November (Fri) from 13:30 to 14:00 —— Your application will be disqualified if absence.
- Support Activity Facilitation | Provide support to therapists or SAF staff during activities, primarily communicating in Cantonese.
- Children Engagement and Assistance | Attend to children individually or in small group (e.g. toilet needs, escorting between sites)
- Transportation Assistance | Accompany children and therapists on the coach to and from the venue, ensuring safety and comfort during transit.

Coach services will be provided from the following designated pick-up points.

The entire data will be destroyed 6 months after submission - Volunteer work activities do not have compensation and public liability insurance coverage. - If you cannot attend the orientation, SAF will disqualify your application. - If the number of applications exceeds the available spots, priority will be given to volunteers who apply for both sessions. - In case of absence due to emergencies or illness, please notify us via WhatsApp at 5248-3365 before 8:00 AM on the day of the activity. - Please arrive punctually for the activity. - Please bring your own essentials for outdoor activities. (eg. sunscreens, water bottles and insect repellent) Please check weather near the event day. - The event will be cancelled in case of adverse weather conditions, such as a Typhoon Signal 3 or above, or a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning. SAF will announce the cancellation 2 hours before the scheduled assembly time.
