Get-to-know Hong Kong with students with special needs in Lung Mei Beach

Description: Volunteers will accompany a group of 8 students with physical and mental disabilities to explore Hong Kong community outside their dormitory. The special school hopes that the students can enjoy a good day out in the Lung Mei Beach in Tai Po while communicating with others during the interactive outing. Volunteer Roles: 1. Volunteers will gather at Lung Mei Beach in Tai Po. 2. Volunteers will accompany the students to visit the Lung Mei Beach, and have lunch together. 3. Volunteers will need to push the wheelchairs for the students and bring them to the toilets. 4. We kindly request that volunteers bring or cover the cost of their own meals. Volunteers also need to cover their own transportation cost. 5.Volunteers may have the opportunity to play water (not swimming) with the students, so please prepare swimsuits or backup clothing. All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with HandsOn and sign up for the activity.
