Description
You are the face of Crossroads to ensure volunteers and visitors feel welcomed by phone, email and in person!. Keeping the reception area clean, tidy and professional. Provide support and great customer service to volunteers and other visitors. We are looking for people who can come regularly two to three days between Tuesday and Saturday. Responding to enquiries via telephone and email (have understanding of Microsoft Office Skills). Provide introduction to visitors and chat to them. Open and happy to speak and interact with visitors

- Crossroads Foundation is a Hong Kong based, non-profit organisation serving global need. We believe that, in a broken world that sees too much suffering, we should do all we can to link those who are in need with those who can provide help. So we provide an intersection, literally a crossroads, to bring both together. We offer four global crossroads services: • Global Distribution: This distributes Hong Kong's quality excess goods as needed, internationally and locally. It provides a crossroads between need and supply. • Global X-perience: This offers simulated x-periences of global need. It provides a crossroads between the lifestyles of the rich and poor. • Global Handicrafts: This sells fair trade goods from people in poverty. It is a crossroads between those needing a fair income and those with buying power. • Global Hand: This provides a 'matching' website for public- private partnerships. It is a crossroads between for-profit and non-profit organizations who wish to address global need. Information and computers are available on site. Lunch are provided. We are happy to meet and speak to volunteers to discuss the project in more detail before they commit. Scheduling and times are flexible according to the volunteer's availability and Crossroads' open hours (Tuesday to Saturday), but with a preference for at least two days per week. The role of receptionist is ongoing, and we would welcome longer commitment if possible.
