Description
Description: On this Wan Chai Kindness Walk, you will see a wide range of individuals in great need and serve roughly 25 homeless individuals. This is a homeless community mainly comprised of asylum seekers, with a handful of locals.
Apart from building connections with the homeless community, you will provide and distribute necessities including food, drink, masks and sanitizer to the people in need.
ImpactHK’s aim for these walks is to build trust through kindness. As a charity they are on the streets at least once per day and their focus on building friendships is giving people a true second chance. In order to sustain housing and job creation initiatives by ImpactHK, we encourage each participant to donate $100 or more.
Remarks: Volunteers who age below 18 years old and above 10 years old want to join this service, a guardian should sign up to this activity. After successful registration, please send an email to hohk@handsonhongkong.org to inquire for the availability.
