Support the bowling with students with intellectual disabilities in Whampoa

Description: Po Leung Kuk Yu Lee Mo Fan Memorial School is looking for volunteers to accompany a group of 20 students with intellectual disabilities on a fun community outing outside their dormitory. Through this holiday sports activity, we aim to encourage students to stay active and build healthy lifestyle habits. Trying out bowling—a new experience for many of them—offers a valuable opportunity for growth and fun. This activity also fosters meaningful interaction between volunteers and students, promoting public awareness, acceptance, and an inclusive community culture. Volunteer Role: Accompany students during the outing and encourage them to participate in the bowling activity. Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the session. Accompany students for lunch at Pizza Hut. Remarks: Volunteers will need to pay for their own meals. Need to hold hands with the students to ensure their safety All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
