Description
Description: Volunteers will accompany a group of 8 students with special needs to explore Hong Kong community outside their dormitory. The school hopes that the students can enjoy a good day out and know more about the community facilities. The activity will help students gain a deeper understanding of food waste sorting at the O.Park (Organic Resources Recovery Centre) and to enjoy a visit to Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung.
Volunteer Roles:
1. Volunteers will meet at the entrance of O.Park and accompany the students during their visit, assisting them in exploring interactive exhibits and engaging them in learning about food waste sorting.
2.After the visit to O.Park, volunteers will assist the students in exploring Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung.
3. Volunteers will need to push the wheelchairs for the students and bring them to the toilets.
4. We kindly request that volunteers cover the cost of their own meals.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
