Description
Description: The Green Hour Foundation welcomes you to join us for our upcoming beach and trail cleanups throughout 2025 in partnership with Earthday.org!
This hike will take us to Tsing Shan Monastery in Tuen Mun. Along the way, we will collect trash on the hiking trail, helping to beautify the area and give people a chance to explore more of Hong Kong's trails. Together, we can ensure a cleaner and safer environment for everyone. Not only that, but it is a wonderful way to make new friends and get some exercise!
Volunteer roles:
- Volunteers will first gather at Shan King South LRT Station in Tuen Mun. From there, we will walk to the hike starting point together.
- On arrival, participants will be handed bags, gloves and other cleanup materials, so there is no need to bring anything except for a huge smile, a filled reusable water bottle and tons of energy!
This activity is catered to individuals and families, not companies. If you represent a corporation and would like to arrange a managed cleanup for your staff, whether it be coastal, trails or urban cleanups, please reach out to us at hohk@handsonhongkong.org.
Volunteers will receive a detailed service reminder email one day before the event.
All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you in this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity.
