Description
Save the Children Hong Kong will host a Regional Flag Day on Hong Kong Island on 17 May 2025, with the theme “Flags for Children's Tomorrows”. All funds raised through this initiative will support our programmes for underprivileged children and families in Hong Kong, empowering children to achieve their full potential and ensuring their well-being and safety.
We are currently recruiting over 1,500 volunteers aged 14 or above (participants aged below 14 must be accompanied by an adult) to support our Flag Day. To encourage active participation, each volunteer who attends and takes part in the flag selling activity will receive a certificate of appreciation and have four volunteer hours recorded. For family volunteers, both the adult and the child will receive an e-certificate of appreciation.
Date: 17 May 2025 (Saturday)
Time: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm
Location: Hong Kong Island
Requirement:
• Welcome Individual / family volunteers to apply
• Volunteers aged 14 or above
• Participants aged below 14 must be accompanied by their parents or guardians
• Holders of Hong Kong Birth Certificate or Hong Kong Identity Card (Including their parents or guardians)
• Permitted to participate in voluntary work in Hong Kong according to the Hong Kong Immigration Ordinance.
