Description
Deliver a beginner-friendly 1.5-hour session on Urban Planning and placemaking workshop for Secondary students. Lead a 1-hour talk on real-world experience in urban planning, sustainable community design, and creating healthier, greener living environments. Use real-world examples and “Before vs After” case studies to illustrate the impact of thoughtful placemaking on community living, air quality, and public health. Facilitate a 30-minute interactive placemaking workshop where students apply basic placemaking concepts. Prepare a high-quality, visually appealing PowerPoint presentation . Make the session interactive, motivating, and inspiring students on how urban planning and placemaking can transform spaces into healthier, greener, and more vibrant communities in Hong Kong. Participants: Approximately 30 Secondary 4 & 5 students + 5 mentors

- The Clean Air Network Summer Internship Program 2026 is a 4-day immersive experience designed to empower secondary students to explore air pollution, technology, GIS, and data storytelling. Beyond technical GIS training, we place a heavy emphasis on urban planning and placemaking. Through hands-on workshops and mentorship, students will learn how to advocate for and design communities that prioritize health, air quality, and sustainability.
