Serve-a-thon: Soap Recycling (Family Welcome)

Description: At this event you will help to prepare soap donated by hotels for recycling and distribution to underprivileged families and schools in disadvantaged communities around the world, particularly in Asia. Your help in the recycling of soaps from hotels in Hong Kong also promotes environmental protection. Volunteers will help with sorting, carving and recycling soap. Guidance will be given by Soap Cycling staff. All volunteers who attend this activity must be registered with HandsOn Hong Kong. If you wish to have a friend or family member join you on this activity, they must first register with Hands On and sign up for the activity. Volunteers should be at least 12 years of age to attend this activity without a parent or guardian. Volunteers want to bring their children who age over 7, please create children's account and sign them up along with your registration or send us an email to HOHK@handsonhongkong.org to register. The numbers for this activity are strictly limited so please note that it will not be possible for any non-registered family members or friends to join you.​ Please note that Soap Cycling does not accept kids younger than 7 years-old. Since the main entrances of our building are closed on Sundays, and please enter the building through the side gate on Tsuen Wing Street, which is several steps from the main entrance.
