如果閣下是退休人士或前護老者，並希望運用你的經驗和技能支援社區上有需要的護老者及其家人，請加入我們「照顧伙伴」義工行列。接受訓練成爲「照顧伙伴」義工，閣下將有機會協助本單位推行特色護老者活動，例如：「身體動作」介入活動、特色靜觀活動等，另外閣下亦能參與本單位推行的「替假護老者」服務，為有需要的長者提供到戶認知訓練活動，紓緩護老者的照顧壓力。

「照顧伙伴」義工培訓將涵蓋6節主題課堂及一節課堂實習：第一節：認識護老者需要和壓力來源（10月13日下午3時至5時）第二節：學習護老者紓壓活動帶領技巧（10月20日下午3時至5時）第三節：認識同理心溝通以及與長者溝通的技巧（10月27日下午3時至5時）第四節：學習認知障礙症長者到戶認知訓練技巧（11月3日下午3時至5時）第五節：認識長者常見病症 (如：糖尿病、高血壓、冠心病、柏金遜症、骨質疏鬆等)（11月9日下午3時至5時）第六節：認識長者家居危機處理程序 (如：不慎跌倒後的處理程序)（11月22日下午3時至5時）第七節：課堂實習：到戶認知障礙訓練模擬實習（11月24日下午3時至5時）
