Remarks
  • We are CODA Hong Kong, an organization dedicated to the need of Deaf Families, specifically Children of Deaf Adults (CODA). Since Deaf Adults have difficulties communicating with their kids and helping with their childrens' homework, due to language barrier and their little knowledge about hearing education.CODA tends to experience more stress, desperation due to little mutual understanding and their relunctance in communcating with their parents. Their parents have challenges understanding their kids' study needs and progress. We need tutors that show empathy and patience with such unique family structure, knowing the obstacles they face. We have a group of existing volunteers with experience in helping CODA with their study, welcome to exchange experience. We have sign language interpreters to help with communicating with CODA's parents.
